After a successful career in retail, working for Birks Jewelers, Jo-Anne chose to stay at home to raise her family, while continuing to stay active in the community.

In 1999 Jo-Anne re-entered the retail world by joining the staff of Exquisite Taste in Wine.

In 2006 Jo-Anne entered the entrepreneurial world purchasing Exquisite Taste in Wine resuming her desire to develop a strong rapor with the community forming new relationships and friendships.
